A 50-55 minute session with a clinical psychologist costs $255. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Some private health insurance policies and NDIS plans may also cover psychology sessions. If you have any questions about payment, please contact us to discuss a plan that suits your needs.

We cover a clinical assessment of your needs, history and goals for attending therapy. Usually there will be a lot of questions we will cover and this will help in form the treatment planning and consider any diagnoses or specific goals that might be helpful. I ask these questions in an interview style that is very relaxed and helps us identify a therapeutic space that is focused on the client and their needs.

The duration of therapy varies for each individual. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that considers financial costs, therapy goals, and treatment approaches to give you an idea of the frequency and duration of your therapy.
